Underneath Prejudice

Underneath prejudice is the need to feel good about yourself. That’s the power behind it. To prejudge without consideration is not an intelligent choice. It’s the need to scapegoat. That’s why we have war, why people get divorced. That’s the tragedy of child abuse and rape.
